Phoebe & Me at our 48th Anniversary

Hi, Folks! Welcome to my website. I hope you have an enjoyable visit here and that you get to know my family and me a little bit better. Thanks for visiting.
The above picture is of Phoebe and me on our 48th Anniversary at Brixx Pizza. We've been together over 54 years and celebrated our 50th Anniversary October 21-2011. Phoebe is the most wonderful, beautiful, loyal wife anyone could ever ask for and I am absolutely blessed to have her.
I have worked in the helping profession since 1986, certified and Licensed since 1988 until 2010/2011. My specialties are abuse issues, anger issues and addictions, not necessarily in that order. I am currently seeing clients as a Life Coach on an individual basis at Integrous Counseling Center. For anyone interested in my help, my phone number is 865-679-Pete (7383).
I have helped so many folks over the years but sometimes it gets to the point where one must work as hard (or, harder) on oneself as he does in helping others. I have made a lot of mistakes but I have always been willing to do whatever it takes to improve and change. Several years ago, I lost a lot, including a wonderful job at CAC and I caused a lot of hurt. Some really wonderful folks helped me forgive myself. I hope others can too.

This is Alex, now 22; Kurt, a Navy Chief who will retire (but continue to work the same job in a contract position); Kim, my daughter; and Emily, now 17. Kurt, Kim, Emily, Alex & his fiance, Kristen live in Maryland where Kurt is stationed and has a home.

Phoebe and I have been together since 1958; married since 1961. This is us when we lived in Johnson City while I was attending Milligan College. I graduated in 1963 and that year, our daughter Kim was born. What a great time in our lives.

This is a picture that was taken in our kitchen of me and my son, Pete. He had just finished preparing a huge meal for his church members. He is a wonderful chef and we are so proud of him.
